Calis nodded at the king,"then I will be more vigilant my lord, this will not happen again while I am alive I assure you. About that my lord, while I am glad you still keep hope...I would not raise them too high." She said solemnly.
Calis nodded at the suggestion," I agree my lord, my political skills are a bit rusty but I'm sure I can take the place. T-Thank you my lord...I don't know what to say..." Calis said with a slight blush on her face.
Calis frowned at this as well,"I worry about this too, but shes a Lycan, she can find her way back if shes lost, and I'm sure mother and father are looking for her as we speak."

Laith nodded. "Calis I understand what you are saying, at this point in time however I cannot give up just yet, Niara is family. She wasn't always like this and I owe it to her to do what I can to solve this mystery. If she can be returned to us as she was I would be overjoyed."
His expression darkened for a moment. "However if she cannot be brought back from this madness, I know what that will mean, and I will do whatever I must to ensure the safety of our people and this family."
Laith shook himself from his thoughts. "You are most welcome Calis, and I know you will do well."

As Laith was talking to Calis, Taliyah made her way slowly into the throne room. She knew they normally met elsewhere she had other matters to mention to him today than things about her old world.
She rapped her knuckles against the doorway softly. "I'm sorry to interrupt, my lord I have something to tell you."
Laith turned at the sound of her voice, and frowned in concern. "Taliyah, are you alright? You don't look so well."
"That's part of why I'm here today. I have been feeling very strange as of late." Taliyah wavered a little on her feet and placed a hand on the wall for balance. There were dark circles under her eyes.
He moved closer and put a hand on her shoulder to help steady her. "Have you been to a healer yet?"
She shook her head. "No I haven't, I have a suspicion that I cannot prove yet, and if I'm right no healer can fix this." Taliyah set the sack she'd been carrying down. "I brought more supplies for the young prince."

Teryis grunted at the supplies and looked at Calis. "You want someone to carry them down to his workshop for you?"
He quickly went to a sitting room and came back with a padded wooden chair, placing it on the floor behind Taliyah. "Take a rest ma'am. You look dead on your feet and whatever's going on it can wait a few minutes for you."

Calis quickly saluted to the king and took the bag from the exhausted woman,"Your majesty, I will return after I deliver these to prince Davyn, and Taliyah? Make sure not to push yourself." She said as she sprinted out of the throne room, bag over her shoulder.
