Here are some of the various groups in Lirika that you might want to know about to help you decide where your character fits in.
Draemir militia - the organized knights that protect the kingdom of Draemir and Lirika as a whole if needed
Notable members include:

Thieves guild - an officially recognized guild of thieves allowed to operate within Draemir for all the services they provide for the city and crown, and because they operate with a code of honor and keep the worst sort of thieves out of the city

Kassyda leads the spies who disguise themselves as courtesans
The Raven's Eyes - a secret branch of the thieve's guild and the Draemir militia that works in secret for the crown as a resistance movement operating in Krilia and rescuing those who seem to be abused

Levana the leader of the group
Yarina her second in command
Healer's Guild - the best healers and medicinal practitioners in the land gather here, this is the best place for the sick and injured in Lirika
Notable members include:
Gemma cousin to the king of Draemir and a prominent healer herself
Irenaios Academy - the best magical learning school in the land has its main branch in Kalemnos and a smaller school in Draemir
Notable members include:
Simone the dragonkin librarian and unofficial head of the school
Royal Emmisaries - these are individuals sent from the various cultures and kingdoms to handle political matters between kingdoms

Taliyah a renegade who left Cathedral for her own reasons and is now a secret source of information to the king
Adirion the Selkie emissary from Veirntarn who has developed a relationship with King Laithe that is shall we say more than just friendship
The Fae Courts - the four courts of Dusk Glade that rule based on the four seasons, though all four are always in session

King Aiston of the autumn court
King Tahrath of the winter court
Isolt who should be the rightful queen of the winter court at the moment but left for elsewhere instead
The Wandering Caravans - a gypsy merchant group that travels all across Lirika
Notable members include:
Lymira the former Vampyre queen who now acts as leader of this group
Mikeal a human who has allied himself with Lymira and leads the caravans when Lymira is away
Blue Sky - a small frontier town given protection by a small pack of Lycans

Inver who is leader of the Lycans who made this town their home
Brum a wielder of prophecy magic who lives in the town
Kivara the daughter of Inver who left the town for Draemir
Cathedral Security Divison Zero Arcanist Research Squad - a small group of Krilians that have been assigned to operate undercover in Lirika researching the world
