Here you will find more in depth information on the deities in the world of Lirika. Agazon - Autumn and Chaos Akanthos - Justice and Punishment Alina - Sun and the Land Becan - Poetry and Pestilence Chalis - Healing and Inspiration Domir - Time, Growth and the Harvest Enkii - Water and Divination Frebol - Dance, Love and Summer Galvian - Sky and Trickster Honora - Weaving and Fertility Inuruz - Moon, Travel and the Guardian Deity Ixmael - Victory and Shadows Jeirecho - Industry and Progress Krillios - Storms, Hatred and patron deity of Krilia Luxiola - Benevolence and Food Miraj - Fire and Secrecy Nysander - Wisdom and Theatre Olemidh - Wind and Decay Paloa - Weaponry and Alcohol Qizmat - Death and Enigma Reuin - Famine and Lust Sakalvei - Music and Beauty Solelos - Crossroads and Duality Tiamante - Winter and Medicine Uinseann - War and Arbor Vienica - Thievery and Spring Wulf - Destruction and the Hunt Xantii - Luck and Suffering Yaromir - Peace and Communication Ziefried - Ice and Fright

Name: Agazon (Ah-gah-zone)
Gender: female
Appearance: Appears as a beautiful dark haired woman swathed in a cloak of leaves dyed every color imaginable. Her smile is described as cold and sinister by some, but as playful and mischievous by others. Her eyes change color frequently, changing between greens, reds to all other colors of the fall, yet interestingly both her eyes are never the same color, which may allude to her personality.
Symbol: True followers of Agazon are tattooed all over with seemingly random swirling chaotic black lines covering every inch of the body, certain thistles and thorned plants are dear to her
Domain: Lady of Autumn, also Goddess of Chaos
Personality: Quick to befriend and quick to anger. Just as likely to help someone as she is to hinder. Often hides in shadowy places at night to make noises and cause the shadows to dance to frighten nearby people. Can see both sides of a conflict and know how to either diffuse the situation or make it worse. One never knows which one she will choose, so beware, for sometimes creating order is the greatest form of chaos.
Trials: Completely unpredictable, if you are seeking to win her trial, the course in unfathomable, but the general concept will be whatever will be the most chaotic outcome for all.
Offerings: The best gift to give her is to cause a scene of panic or otherwise incite chaos in a large group of people. The more widespread the chaos, the more likely she is to listen.
Animals: Favors no known animals yet has an affinity for certain plants including the Blood Briar, a species of plant with wickedly curved thorns which was once thought to be sentient, the plant responds to the warmth of living flesh by causing its thorny tendrils to wrap closer to the warmth, subsequently causing the briars to dig deeply into the victim (some followers of hers are said to wreath themselves in the plant on purpose)
Patron Information: Those with Agazon as their patron are said to be tricksters and likely to have secret motives
Other Information: One of the four season sibling deities. Has a strange connection to the deity of duality and the crossroads, Solelos

Name: Akanthos (Uh-Kan-Thows)
Gender: Male, though sometimes appears as female
Appearance: Akanthos is one of those deities where you never know what his true appearance is. He modifies it according to who he appears to. Whether he appears as a wizened grandfather or a young seductive woman his presence is always intimidating and in his eyes glints a hint of cruelty.
Symbol: A red rod and flail wrapped around a gold thorn vine.
Domain: Justice and Punishment
Personality: Akanthos is not the nurturing kind. He expects nothing but the best from those brave enough to call on him. He won’t tolerate those who do not at least attempt to work on their weaknesses and abhors cowardice of any kind. With him your word is your truth and to break it is to betray yourself. He has been known to push his followers to their limits in order to help them reforge themselves into better people. None who follows him can lead a dishonest or greed filled life. To follow him you must remain true to your ethics and principals. If you forge ties to people you have a responsibility to stand by them unless they go against who they are. If you see someone commit an act of a vile nature you are bound to confront them lest you break faith with him. If you wrong someone else who is an innocent, an atonement must be made or you will bear his curse.
Trials: Akanthos weeds out those of an unjust spirit and lifts up those who persevere. If you falter or let fear rule you his trial will kill you. If you seek his trial with insincere motivations it will kill you. If you cannot withstand pain and the reliving of every experience of your life it will kill you. Very few survive his trial. If they do they bear his mark and the abilities he gives them. They also bear physical pain for the rest of their days as a reminder of their vows and of the worth they held during their trial. For some Akanthos will never appear again after this trial though he will guide you, others he visits and at times gives them tasks to fulfill. His trials can last anymore from 2 hours to an entire week.
Offerings: fire, weaponry, the blood of the supplicant.
Animals: Venomous snakes and scorpions
Patron Information: Those born under Akanthos are said to have a strong moral compass and are unable to let a wrong deed go unpunished.
Other Information: When the world was nearly ended and the Catastrophes began on Krilia many of his fellow deities in the world lost followers and faded from existence and his own followers in the culture perished. He fell into slumber for over a century until a follower dared risk his trial and became one of his own, waking the god.

Name: Alina (Ah-Lee-Na)
Gender: Female
Appearance: Alina has two forms. She either appears as a maiden filled with the strength and vitality of youth or as a motherly figure often pregnant representing her connection with the land. Her hair varies from pale blonde to a fiery red. Her eyes change from light brown to amber. Her skin is tan.
Symbol: Golden sunburst
Domain: The Sun and The Land
Personality: Alina has a multifaceted personality according to what form she chooses to take. It ranges from impatience and optimism about all things to nurturing and wise. For the most part she is sweet tempered unless she is disrespected or abused. When that happens wrath descends on the offender like the heat of the sun in a drought. She is devoted to her husband and her children both immortal and mortal alike. Inuruz often balances her when she loses control. She balances him when he is too serious. Alina can have a good sense of humor about things as well. She is a protector of children and those who take risks to bring positive things into their lives.
Trials: Pilgrimage to dedicate ones self to the land and it takes a solar year.
Offerings: hard work in cultivating the land, gold or amber. Anything bright.
Animals: ferret, hawk
Patron Information: Those favored by Alina or born under the corresponding star are said to be compassionate and motherly, those that respect life.
Other Information: Her husband is Inuruz and their twin children are Galvian and Xantii. With the problems that have vexed the crumbling world of Krilia Alina was weakened and her strength was fast waning. The sun’s light was fading until... SPOILERS

Name: Becan (Beh-Kahn)
Gender: Male
Appearance: Wears robes of purest white and has the softest, palest skin. Strings of opals glitter about his collarbone and his hair is white as death. He carries a longbow strapped across his back and in recent times, it seems, can be seen with a scroll and quill in his hands.
Symbol: A white blade through the center of a crown
Domain: Harbinger of Pestilence and somehow also... God of Poetry???
Personality: It is uncertain whether Becan chooses his victims randomly or for some greater purpose that only he is aware of. A softspoken nature and enigmatic smile only lead people to wonder this even more. No one is certain where or when he picked up the poetry association.
Trials: you are stricken with an ‘interesting’ disease of the god’s own design such as Limerick Pox, and you must bear with this infection long enough for him to approve
Offerings: he enjoys beautiful poetry and beautiful suffering
Animals: songbirds, horse
Patron Information: Those blessed or chosen by Becan are said to be creative and resilient
Other Information: Curiously enough, despite their apparent roles, the four harbingers did not approve of or cause the recent Catastrophes on Krilia and are said to have actually worked against them.

Name: Chalis (Sha-Lee)
Gender: Female
Appearance: The golden maiden of miracles, Chalis' most common form is a fair haired maiden.
Symbol: A golden harp and trumpet
Domain: Healing and Inspiration
Personality: Chalis is a Goddess of spiritual guidance to those in need. She is said to hear all requests whether for a miracle to save a loved one near death or to lead an army to victory. She offers her blessings to many, though the way in which she does this is not often obvious, for she is also humble and does not wish to be given the credit for her help.
Trials: Only accepts those of faith and nobility into her circle. Acts of kindness gone unnoticed by the recipients do not escape her sight. She may reveal herself to someone she deems worthy, even if they do not actively seek her out.
Offerings: Does not demand gifts or offerings, only love and appreciation
Animals: Said to sometimes take the form of a doe or an eagle to appear to and rally followers.
Patron Information: Those born under the star of or blessed by Chalis are supposed to be natural born leaders or healers/doctors
Other Information: Chalis is one of the few deities that legend speaks of as once being a mortal. It is said that before she ascended to take the form of a goddess she was the queen of a great kingdom. When the kingdom was invaded by a ruthless force, she meant to trade her life away to save her people. However, this noble sacrifice inspired her people and rallied them to hold back the force. When she fell in love and married a prince from another kingdom, the dark force from before struck back in vengeance and sent an agent to assassinate the new king, striking him down with a deadly poison. Chalis, in desperation to save her love, beseeched the deities and performed an ancient magic to exchange her life for that of her love. The King and his people rallied under her name and invaded, wiping the evil force off the face of the world for eternity. The deities recognized her twice noble acts of sacrifice and valor. They could not return her mortal life to her, but instead gave her new life among them, welcoming her as a goddess.

Name: Domír (Do-Meer)
Gender: Presumed to be male
Appearance: It is unclear if he even has a form. As nobody of recent times has made contact or gained an audience with him, there is no record of his actual appearance.
Symbol: Wheat sheaves overlaying a spiral, an hourglass split in two by the infinity symbol
Domain: Deity reigning over Time, Growth and the Harvest
Personality: Presumed to be quite neutral with a policy in not interfering with matters between the worlds
Trials: As he is said to not have chosen a servant within this era, the extent of what a trial to become his servant might be is unknown. However, the only way to contact him is through his children, so at the very least passing their trials or gaining their approval appears to be the first test in even gaining an audience with this great deity.
Offerings: As he presides over growing things and the harvest, a small portion of the year's harvest is given to him
Animals: Rooster, tortoise
Patron Information: Those blessed by and/or born under him are said to be given unparalleled wisdom and patience, and will have long fruitful lives

Name: Enkii (En-Kee)
Gender: Male
Appearance: His skin can appear scaly like a fish or smooth and soft like an otter. His appearance varies depending on the ebb and flow of the tide and his own whim. He usually dwells beside the sea or at a river bank or spring and his clothing reflects as such in flowing garments of blue and green. He may appear clothed in the white foam of the ocean waves or the white rapids of a rushing river.
Symbol: An overflowing gourd printed with a seers eye, seashells, aqueducts
Domain: Water and Divination
Personality: Enkii seems like he's not all there most of the time. Usually distant and ponderous about things only he can see. When he talks, he has a dreamy air about him and sometimes speaks in riddles that don't make sense. He sometimes travels disguised as a fortuneteller or settles as a wise man in a village if he gets bored of immortal company.
Trials: A trial with Enkii might be as simple as surviving a vision given by him, for they can be violent or letting them see multiple possible ends to a conflict at once. If he takes notice of the mortal world, it's because he's intrigued by one mortal or another.
Offerings: Enkii loves fruits and vegetables, especially ones full of water like watermelons and cucumbers or hollow ones like peppers and pomegranates. He also likes clear liquid spirits offered in the hollow foods.
Animals: Fish, herons, otters and crustaceans.
Patron Information: Those who find themselves born under or blessed by Enkii are in touch with their emotions, perhaps romantic or family-oriented sorts
Other Information: Enkii is usually pondering the multitude of possibilities occurring within the world all at once. As decisions are made he discards some and adds more to the mix. It's full time job keeping up with all the changes going on. Enkii is possibly the brother of Ziefried and child of Tiamante. Enkii works closely with Miraj. Enkii reads possibilities and Miraj knows the secrets. Between them, not much that is unknown about the world.

Domain: Lord of the Summer months, deity of Love and Dance
Personality: Hates being serious and those that are too serious. Has a forceful demeanor and a light heart but values strength, passion and strength of conviction

Patron Information: Those favored by or born under Paloa are known to be daydreamers, living a bit more carefree and happier than others
Other Information: One of the four season sibling deities. Known to be great friends with Paloa, the deity of alcohol and weaponry, which probably explains why he is drunk so much of the time.

Name: Ixmael (Icks - Male)
Gender: Male
Appearance: typically depicted as a youth with pointed ears, he is always wielding two different objects, one in each hand. Some common depictions include a dagger and a scroll, a sword and a trumpet, and a scepter and a flower. Always has a portion of his face covered, whether with a face cloth, a partial mask, or his hair.
Symbol: an angular shape said to stand for victory; word is that this symbol is also used by assassins
Domain: Deity of Victory but also over shadows
Personality: Personal victory is more important to him than the overall turn of the war. He is still sought after for his blessing by armies going into battle, but he is more the type to take an interest in a person's personal quest in victory for revenge or love.
Trials: Many offer prayers to Ixmael before battle, but is often those on a personal quest that he takes an interest in. He may not offer any aid or guidance, but make his presence known to them. He watches over them and finds those who are able to satisfy their personal desire or objective, whether it was to assassinate someone or discover something hidden, or anything. It is once they have met their goal he invites them to join his company. He gives purpose and mission to those who have already completed theirs, by letting them work for him.
Offerings: A share in spoils of a battle. In the case of a physical battle, it could be the head of an enemy or a portion of claimed treasures. In the case of a personal battle, it could be a symbol of how you claimed your victory.
Animals: Favors the panther and other predators of the night.
Patron Information: Those born under or chosen by Ixmael are said to be those willing to do whatever it takes to come out on top, or those who have no problem using underhanded tactics to win
Other Information: Several tales of him were lost in the changing of times, but there is one old tale that speaks of his life as a human before he became a god. Ixmael was once a ruthless ruler bent on conquest over all of Krilia. Upon invading a small kingdom, he was stricken by the noble and selfless act of the kingdom's queen who offered her life for her people, and fell in love with her. He was so stricken that from that point on he was unable to focus on his conquest and his army fell in battle. He abandoned his goals and his own empire and took to the shadows, assuming a new identity. To his distraught the queen had fallen in love with a prince from another kingdom. When they were betrothed, Ixmael was about to give up when he caught wind that the father of the prince was planning to use the marriage simply to take over his queen's kingdom both her and his own son. Unable to bear losing his love, he did the only thing he could, and from the shadows struck down the prince with a poisoned dagger. He was not counting on her offering up her own life in a ritual to save her dying love. And so, unwilling to give up on her himself, he sought for the rest of his life until he found a way to spend eternity with her himself. The tale leaves it unclear as to how Ixmael actually accomplished this, but it is clear enough that he did.

Name: Jeirecho (Jair - Ek - O)
Gender: Male

Symbol: a clockwork device worn around the neck, it may be a clock, a figure, anything as long as it is mechanical
Domain: He who rules over Industry and Progress
Personality: secretive. Seems to work with humans for the sake of progress and achievement but it is unknown if it is actually for their benefit.
Trials: Followers of Jeirecho were often branded as radicals and heretics in the past, for their ideas for progress were always so extreme to have seemed insane to others. This may be the God's influence over their lives, or perhaps simply the type of person drawn to this deity.

Other Information: This deity may be one of the only ones that has an easier time manifesting on Krilia than Lirika. It is unknown if he previously had different domains than the ones he has now, though it is a common theory.

Enkii reads what is happening in the world and Miraj reads the secrets within it. Between the two of them, there is not much unknown about the world.

Animals: Her chariot is pulled across the skies by four winged horses called the North wind, the South wind, the East wind, and the West wind. It is said they were once majestic creatures of pure white but are now a stormy gray like their master.
Patron Information: Those born under or blessed by Olemidh are supposed to be intellectual thinkers but their emotional state may not be the most stable
Other Information: When the catastrophes struck Krilia, it is believed that when the majority of the air was tainted, so too was the goddess. She is no longer just the kind goddess of calm winds, but also the harsh spirit of decay... but how can she be both?

Name: Paloa

Personality: Paloa is for the most part a very fun-loving deity. She loves a good brawl as much as she loves a good party. She has a wicked sense of humor but can be serious when she needs to be. Paloa appreciates a good cause as much as passion for living. Most of the time she has a strict discipline about combat due to losing an eye when she joined the then deity of war on the battlefield eons ago but start a fight with her and she’ll sure as hell finish it. She loves an opportunity to work with her hands and is happiest when she is crafting things.

If you can outdrink her or craft a drink that’s never been made before that she likes she’ll take you on. She loves entertainment. If you can amuse her she’ll take you on but be warned it is not an easy task.
